Dole Plantation

Oh yeah, the Dole Plantation is where you can get pineapple ice cream in a cool souvenir cup too. The store is pretty cool in there too. We just didn't buy anything last time because we were poorer then and we really just wanted the ice cream. But it's like a normal gift shop. It's pretty big. Oh yeah, this is where you can buy boxes of pineapples. Me and Aaron are sending one to his parents and one to his sister. Ooooh, we can make margaritas with the pineapple like the watermelon one that I made!!! Mmmmm
I'm not even here right now. In my mind I'm already floating around in Hawaii. I'm already sunburned and the water feels good on my skin because it's HOT! I refuse to believe I'm in rainy L.A right now. Mmmmmmm palm trees and martinis.....I mean pina coladas.....I mean......pepsi.....

TIME NEEDS TO HURRY UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S- Today was my first day of projection training. It's a LOT harder than I though it would be.

So B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L !!!!

LANIKAI BEACH

NO SMOKING IN HAWAII!!!!

Ahhhhhh

Get me out of here, get me out of here, get me out of hereeee!!!

Food

That sounds good sister. Pancakes and lil smokies for breakfast. We can get that big thing of eggs from costco too. Dad likes eggs. For lunch, hotdogs and burgers sound good too or sandwiches, especially since we'll probably be packing them for our day adventures! PB&J samiches would be good too. Taco's or nachos are pretty cheap too! Just ground beef, tomatoes, cheese, letttuce, sour cream and salsa. They're pretty cheap. We can eat those for lunch or dinner. Like Ateh May said, tri-tip and beans too. (You know we have a beaner going too) Shoot, tortilla's are pretty cheap too. If not tri tip, we can put any hunk of meat in the slow cooker and it'd be good because actual tri tip's are pretty expensive. Especially one that'll feed all of us! Ahhhh, I can't wait!! Sister we'll be sending you money this Wednesday. We can go over a list too.

Food II

I think if you get some tri tip, hot links and some beans we'd be cool. Pancakes are goooood so that'll work. The lil hot dogs are bomb too. Throw some eggs in and that a nice big breakfast! =) I can send some money over now or give it to you there. Up to you. I know Costco can get EXPENSIVE. So let me know k. I love you and I can not wait to see you all!!

P.S I checked to see if I can change flights and...ya....it's REALLY expensive. So no can do. ...tear..tear.. =(

FOOD

Anyone have any ideas on cheap breakfasts, lunches, and dinners???

I usually buy the big pancake mix from costco, (I actually have some in my pantry right now) so I can get another one, and we can have pancakes. Milk out here is super expenisive so if we can avoid cereal that'd be good. Maybe some bacon or lil smokies to go with it......

I know mom is gonna cook a few nights, but burgers and dogs to BBQ is pretty cheap, and then ribs and chicken..

I know we don't want mom to go to costco, BUT I can go to costco and get rice and some bulk meat items before everyone gets here, if you guys have some ideas of what would be good..

Ga--Dooooooshhhhh!!!!

That's really cool sis Bri!! So when we gonna do the conference call? Ima call my travel agent and see how much it's gonna cost for a rental through my company. I'll also call mom and dad's insurance company for rental cost. I am actually thinking of calling the airline to see how much it'll cost to extend me and Eric's stay!! =D

Thank You Sister

Thank you for that post!!! Very informative! Me and Aaron are budgeting now and we are gonna have sooooo much fun!!! Aaron is doing some planning and thinking about the car rental because we all need to have a conference again so that we can see exactly what we'll need and how much mom is gonna pay so that you and EJ could reserve them soon.

Budget info...

Ok, I wanted to lay out some money figures for everybody since it's getting pretty close now.......

Hanauma Bay: 2 dollars parking per car, and 5 dollars to get in.
Now, it's free for military and kamaaina so we might be able to swing that if they don't check eveyones ID

Wiamea falls: Military is 10 dollars a person I think, I'm not sure full price, but I think it's 20 somthing, children are pretty low though

Oceanarium: Ok this is a big one, with the coupon discount its 27 dollars a person for the all you can eat buffet, children 5 and over are 15.

Rental Cars: Everone's putting in a 200 right? The cheapest I can find is around 150 a car a week. Someone help me out on this one, not too sure.....

Kayaks: MWR is the cheapest Im sure, it's around 20 bucks a day I think.

Pearl Harbor: FREE

Beaches: FREE

Dole Plantation: Free to go and take pictures, There is a maze and a train tour that costs around 15 a person.

So this is pretty much all I can think of besides food and gas, please add on if you can think of anything else or know a way to save some money!
